I agree, but we still gave it a good go. I think we can be optimistic we will have a decent season if we have played this well without the likes of Noble, Kouyate, Carroll, and Jarvis, all of whom would have made a significant difference. I think when we are fully healthy, we will give some teams a good battering.

Two of three in a sparkling MF and replaced them with a youth and cast off
Against Man Utd - who spent £150m and added Falco on loan
And we took it to them too, bloody good effort all round
I am seemingly alone in loving this season

Thought Amalfitano was poor, but Poyet was decent. Although nowhere near as involved as Noble usually is. So Yeah I think we missed him.
